Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., was a man who truly cared about black lives and had a dream for all lives to join hands together in unity and love. I believe he would turn over in his grave if he saw the state of our nation today, especially the state of the black race. Also, I believe he would have mixed emotions, he would be proud of the progress and ashamed of how this progress is abused and squandered by the black community.
MLK was a great man filled with righteous indignation and tenacity, yet his life was encompassed with compassion, meekness and inclusiveness of all races. Moreover, his words of wisdom and passion demanded a peaceful battle against evil regardless of revolt from the opposing forces. I believe the disloyal Americans tend to ignore that MLK was a proud black American citizen who never said or did anything unpatriotic against America. He only expressed his disdain for the conditions and treatment of black Americans desiring equal rights and the same opportunity to excel in the American dream. He never asked for handouts or special favors.
Again, he only wanted the same opportunity of his white counterparts to show how blacks can exemplify hard work and work ethics to assist in a productive society. Black Lives Matter (BLM) on the other hand is a Marxist and racist movement I know MLK would openly denounce. What I have gathered over the years, blacks think just because they’re black, they have a right to be enraged with anger and hate towards the white race because of slavery and the civil rights movement. MLK lead a civil rights movement under extreme conditions, yet he urged everyone to fight with non-violence. Why is this? Because he realized fighting evil for evil only breeds more evil. Cities destroyed across the country in 2020 for many months under the guise of social injustice, only validates my point. What change has it made other than a movement closer to socialism. I have a news alert fake news won’t tell you: Racism comes in all colors. Just because you’re black, God does not give you a pass!
I am a proud black American citizen who loves his country. I tell you this because patriotism is becoming a dying trait in our society and frowned upon as white supremacy. I was asked to write about MLK. I have written to the White House to the church house and everything in between to effect change for the better in our country. Ironically enough, I never gave any thought of writing about MLK. Maybe because I sometimes feel ashamed and embarrassed for where the black community has been heading for decades. I’ve seen and read about the major sacrifices he made for the black race while on this earth. The chaos driven by a BLM movement in 2020 is an insult to his legacy. You see, I look at my America in 2021 as I write about MLK with tears flowing from my eyes and I can earnestly say, America today is not the dream he had in mind, or was it? Just follow me, as I try and make sense of what I just said.
The “I have a dream march” in D.C. on August 28, 1963 was a day to remember. The dream came to fruition right there in plain sight. Check out the footage on that day, before MLK uttered a word of his famous, I have a dream speech.
All God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and gentiles, Protestants and Catholic’s walked hand in hand against the evil of racism. We can say the same, the dream lives on in 2021 as American patriots of all backgrounds and colors walked hand in hand with the president of the United States on January 6, 2021.
Again, from the walk on D.C. in 1963 until now in 2021, the dream is alive and well. There are 100 million plus American patriots, all God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and gentiles, Protestants and Catholic’s standing in defiance of tyranny. We are lockstep, hand in hand and shoulder to shoulder, crying out to God, asking Him to judge everyone that would want to destroy our republic and our freedom.
I can’t say it enough, our present battle isn’t about black vs white, Trump vs Biden, or republicans vs democrats, this fight is about good vs evil and truth vs lies.
This fight is about decades of Chinese communist party (CCP) infiltration that has eroded our society from within, through: republican and democratic parties, past presidents, media, Hollywood, professional sports, academia, major corporations and churches. They use identity politics like: blacks against whites, gay against heterosexuals, and men against women, etc…endorsed by the mainstream media to incite violence and riots.
They censor the conservative voices to shield the American people from the truth. As a result, they produce ill-informed and low information voters. The concept of the media is one of ole, if you divide, you can conquer, we see the catastrophic effects from a 2020 year of chaos of epic proportions. If we are to thrive in the present, we must take self-preservation to seek a brighter future, learn from our past so not to repeat it and CHOOSE TO FORGIVE to restore the breach. No, rehash the past over and over again 24/7 to gullible, offended blacks and guilt-ridden white liberals would make restoring the breach practically an impossibility. I believe this is what the fake news media had in mind all along.
MLK’s efforts from the past and the effects of his sacrifices are astounding even today. Here is one of many success stories because of MLK’s fight for justice. This is a recent story published by AFROTECH posted on January 14, 2021 by Shanique Yates, titled: “Meet Ashley Lamothe, the HBCU grad who became Chick-fil-A’s youngest black franchise owner at age 26.” May I add, she owns two Chick-fil-A restaurants. I hate to put a damper on such a great success story, but we have the media (enemy of the people) to blame. The media has demonized President Trump for over 4 years non-stop, 24/7 negative coverage.
Every single day, we had to hear that President Trump is a dictator, racist, bigot, misogynist, homophobe, islamophobe, and xenophobe to divide a nation. Well, here’s some positive news about Trump you will never hear from fake news. President Trump BROUGHT BACK the HBCU funding that directly effect in a positive way, blacks like Ashely Lamothe. That HBCU funding President Trump brought back, WAS ERRADICATED (TAKEN AWAY, CANCELLED, REVOKED) BY FORMER PRESIDENT OBAMA. Not to mention, President Trump added an additional 17% to the HBCU funding. Did anyone hear about this in the news? I’ll answer it for you, NO!!!
Ashely Lamothe proves once again that MLK’s dream is alive and well. MLK has paved the way for so many blacks to live the American dream.
We had a black president who served not just one but two terms in the White House. Will anyone tell me what blacks cannot do? Black men/black women can drive what they want, live where they want, eat what and where they want to, travel where they want to, attend any school they want, play a round of golf and go into any profession they want to, and the list goes on and on. What am I saying? Quit complaining and enjoy the blessings of this great nation.
We as black people do ourselves a disservice when we live beneath our privileges. When we allow the far left mentality to control how we live and think, we forfeit the dream of MLK. When we harbor unforgiveness, anger and rage in our hearts because of the past, we become stagnated in self-pity and victimhood. Close your ears off to the voices of wealthy black enablers and ask yourself the question, how did they make it?
Listen, as long as you see yourself as a product of the system, you’ll always be dependent on a phantom solution that will never arrive.
I’ve been told, I’m very hard on my race of people. Well too bad — that’s because I care and I’m willing to tell you the truth. Proverbs 27:6 says, “ Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.” This means, real friends tell the truth even if it hurts, even risking losing the friendship. However, an enemy doesn’t care if you get hurt, therefore they will deceive you with false benevolence to make you think they care.
One final story. My wife and I had the privilege of dining at the Cowford Chophouse for our 23rd wedding anniversary. Cowford is a restaurant comparable to the Ruth Chris steak house. Mind you, this is not a place we frequent because of the price. With a family of eight, we have to be frugal in our spending. However, on a special occasion like our anniversary we like to splurge a little. HERE’S THE POINT OF THIS STORY, as the crowd began to pour in, my wife and I noticed something in particular, there were a lot of black people within the crowd, as if they owned the place.
My wife and I were having the same thoughts as our eyes focused on one another, we whispered simultaneously and asked…
“Where is the systematic racism? Where is the white privilege? Where is the social injustice?”
Ladies and gentlemen, the CCP has planted a hoax into our society. We have been sold a bill of goods. Again, they use offended blacks and white guilt to distribute the bold face lie, and is celebrated across the country by the CCP owned mainstream/social media. Please, don’t be fooled by the false narrative given in the airwaves across our country. No one can hold you back but you.
MLK, had a dream and it came true. Now it is up to you. The sky’s the limit, SO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? Remember MLK didn’t die for you to BLM.
