I’ve been black all my life. I qualify to speak about BLM

In a recent post by Eye’s Sr. Editor, Lloyd Brown, he stated, “Politicians should show proof or stop slandering the people of Jacksonville.” I agree with Lloyd and I am a black man. I am also extremely proud to be a resident of Jacksonville and a citizen of this great Nation.

I have been black all my life. Therefore, I believe this qualifies me for what I’m about to say.

The late Herman Cain once said liberals and blacks SIN. (I added blacks because in many  instances liberals and blacks are synonymous.) SIN is an acronym for: S: Shift the subject. I: Ignore the facts. N: resort to Name calling. Blacks who claim victim-hood in America never want to face the facts, because if they did, the black community would have to take on the responsibility of changing those facts.

I’m tired of hearing about racism and social injustice. These two words have become meaningless, because they have been used in every situation to shift the blame. It’s easier for blacks to shift the blame to white America. If the black community and black leaders focus everyone’s attention on racism and injustice, America will be distracted from the self- inflicted problems that has plagued the black community for decades.

Did racism and injustice make the black community top of the class in: fatherlessness, illiteracy, school dropout, gang and drug infested neighborhoods, black teenage single mothers, crime, abortion, incarceration, and black on black murder? Did you notice anything unusual? Police brutality didn’t even make the list. Police brutality is disproportionate compared to black on black homicide, where thousands of blacks are slaughtered each year by the hands of blacks across America.

Black Lives Matter is the hottest headline in America today. Demands are given and we dare not speak out against the Marxist movement. The honeymoon with black lives is splendid, and black America can do no wrong.

Here is a noble idea for those on the Black Lives Matter bandwagon, such as the mainstream media, NBA, WNBA, NFL, MLB, democratic politicians, Hollywood, entertainers (singers/ rappers), Al, Jesse, colleges, and major corporations. All just mentioned should gather your millions to change the face of the black community all across America. Every person within each entity just mentioned can give several million of their own money and not even miss a dime in their bank accounts. Put your money where your mouth is and stop playing the race card.

I gave a list above of specifics of what’s plaguing the black community.

Now give us specifics of racism and injustices.

Those that believe racism is rampant across America, give us your list of specifics. We can then sit down and have a sincere civilized discussion to bring this city and this Nation together. Otherwise, if blame is the center focus, this city and this Nation will never come to a solution and would be an impossibility for all races to unite in the greatest country in the world.

May God bless America.
