Calling All Young Patriots: Share What America Means to You — Win an Unforgettable Experience!

Local students in grades 3 through 12 are invited to take part in an exciting nationwide contest celebrating America’s 250th anniversary — America’s Field Trip! This unique opportunity encourages students to reflect on their views of our country and express their thoughts through original artwork or written responses answering the question: “What does America mean to you?”.

What’s at Stake?
Students who participate have the chance to be one of 250 winners selected from across the country. Top entries can earn unforgettable field trip experiences to iconic American historical and cultural sites — all travel, lodging, and activities included — along with a parent or guardian chaperone. Additional winners will receive cash prizes!

Who Can Enter?

  • Open to U.S. students in grades 3–12 (public, private, home-school).
  • Students submit their original artwork or essay; entries must be uploaded by a parent, legal guardian, or teacher on the student’s behalf.

How to Participate

  • Visit the America250 Field Trip page to learn about the prompt and submission details: america250.org/fieldtrip.
  • Encourage creativity — students can paint, draw, write, or combine ideas to share a personal and meaningful view of America.

Deadline to Enter:
All entries must be submitted by March 30, 2026.

Whether students dream of exploring national parks, visiting historic cities, or discovering American culture up close, this contest offers a chance to learn, express, and win amazing experiences. Encourage the students in your life to take part — and let their voices help shape the story of America’s next 250 years! 🇺🇸
