The supervisor of elections sent out more than 26,000 vote-by-mail ballots, and half went to Democrats.
By party affiliation:
Democrat – 13,459
Republican – 8,109
Other – 4,504
What is it Democrats have against going to the polls on Election Day, as Americans did for decades?
They demand weeks of voting, and mail-in ballots for the simple act of casting a vote.
It is almost as if they prefer to increase the chances of fraudulent voting.
Showing up on election day with a valid I.D. makes fraud very difficult. Even computer-counted votes arouse suspicion among some skeptics, but no system is foolproof. Handwritten ballots put into a box by the voters would seem secure but unscrupulous people can stuff boxes with fake ballots, or Lyndon Johnson never would have been elected to the Senate.
But having extra days to vote, or voting by mail – even in Florida, which has strict requirements – makes it easier to cheat.
Libs say fraud is rare, but it isn’t non-existent. In 2023, an Iowa woman was convicted of federal program fraud and voter fraud for submitting dozens of fraudulent voter registration applications, absentee ballot requests, and completed absentee ballots during the 2020 primary and general elections to benefit her husband’s congressional campaign.
Even so, officials have faith in the system.
“Vote-by-mail is a secure and accurate process,” Jerry Holland, supervisor of elections, said. “We encourage you to vote by mail to skip the lines and make sure nothing prevents you from casting your ballot. Waiting until Election Day can be risky because unexpected things can happen. It’s important to make a plan to vote.”
Holland told Eye on Jacksonville that one voter told him he requested a mail-in ballot as insurance, in case he couldn’t get the polls on Election Day.
In California, and other states dominated by the Far Left, officials simply mail out ballots to everyone, making it ridiculously easy to cheat.
The deadline to request a ballot to be mailed for the Aug. 18 primary election and the special first consolidated government election is Thursday, Aug. 6, at 5 p.m. The deadline for the Supervisors of Elections Office to receive a completed mail ballot is 7 p.m. on Election Day
Eligible voters may request a vote-by-mail ballot by visiting duvalelections.gov, by phone, in person, or by sending in a signed request containing certain required items by email (as an attachment), fax or mail. Voters who want to vote by mail on a regular basis need to make a new request after every general election in Florida.
