One Nation Under God: Revival 250 Comes to Jacksonville

If you’ve been driving around Jacksonville lately, you may have noticed something new rising above the highways:

Revival 250 billboards are now live across the city.

The large-scale faith gathering — scheduled for May 3 at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena — is being promoted as part of America’s 250th anniversary celebration and is expected to draw thousands in person and millions via live stream.

Organizers say the event is designed to be more than a one-day rally. As shared in a recent local interview, the goal is a “call to the church to live the values it professes” — with unity across denominations and diversity across cultures at the center.

With arena capacity set at approximately 11,600 attendees and a national live stream planned, Revival 250 is positioning Jacksonville as the launch city for what organizers hope will become a defining faith moment leading into America’s semi-quincentennial.

Why Jacksonville?

Event organizer Chris Widener previously shared that Jacksonville was selected after months of prayer and planning, noting the area’s early Christian colonial history and its growing reputation as a hub of faith and civic engagement.

Local pastors are being encouraged to connect and participate, with organizers emphasizing unity across denominational lines — “from Presbyterians to Pentecostals.”

The vision, they say, is not just May 3 — but May 4 and beyond.

Can Revival be Manufactured?

Revival is not manufactured by marketing, staging, or strategy. It is not created by a platform or a personality. Revival is the work of God.

What we can do is gather.

What we can do is fill an arena with 11,000 believers united in prayer.

What we can do is humble ourselves, seek His face, and ask Him to heal the divisions in our nation.

Putting 11,000 Christians in one room to cry out for revival — that’s the part we play.

The rest is up to Him.

We are praying for revival.

And we pray you will join us on May 3rd.
