No King in America — And That’s the Problem

A protest meant to mock Trump may actually be setting the stage for revival.

Tomorrow, left-wing activists will take to the streets in what they’re calling the “No Kings” protest — a nationwide demonstration meant to mock Donald Trump as if he were a monarch trying to seize a crown.

But if you look deeper, this movement isn’t really about Trump. It’s about rebellion — the same rebellion that’s as old as the Book of Judges.

“In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes.” — Judges 21:25

That verse wasn’t a celebration. It was a warning. When people cast off all authority — divine or moral — and decide truth for themselves, what follows isn’t freedom. It’s anarchy.

America’s founders understood that. They didn’t want a king — but they also didn’t want chaos. They built a Republic grounded in God-given rights and moral order, not mob rule. They declared that our rights come from our Creator, not from any man or government.

So when protesters shout “No King,” they’re missing the point. The danger isn’t a king named Trump — it’s a generation that no longer recognizes the King above all kings.

That’s the heart of this protest. It’s not political satire. It’s spiritual confusion — a rejection of the very moral foundation that made America free in the first place.

And when everyone “does what is right in his own eyes,” history — and Scripture — tell us exactly what happens next.

The “No Kings” protest believe they are right in their own eyes. Yet it will just be one more event that will set the stage for the biggest revival in America.

Revival is already breaking out — just look at what’s happening on social media and college campuses. The “No Kings” protestors can shout all they want, but they can’t stop what God has started.
