An Uncomfortable Easter Reflection for Florida Leadership

On this Easter weekend, as we celebrate the freedom Jesus Christ died to give us, there’s an uncomfortable truth playing out right here in Florida—one we shouldn’t look away from.

While we honor liberty, our guardianship system is quietly taking it—locking seniors away, isolating them from loved ones, and draining their life savings under the polished label of “care.”

Let’s call it what it is: government-sanctioned control over Florida’s elderly.

In some cases, it looks a whole lot like modern-day bondage dressed up in legal paperwork.

Easter reminds us that freedom is sacred. So why are we allowing a system that takes it so easily—and profits while doing it—to continue unchecked?

Do better Florida.  Do better Governor DeSantis.  Do better anyone in Florida’s leadership who can do something!
