Unfortunately Mayor Deegan, everything turns to politics

In 2007 when I was awakened about the unhealthy policies in our nation, I was one of many who started the tea party movement. Local concerned citizens rose up when President Bush bailed out the banks and left the rest of us behind to deal with an economic shutdown.

The Tax Day Tea Party plans were underway from that moment on. False historical context by politicians and pundits will tell you that the tea party rose up because Obama was a black man and we were all racists.

I was called names and threatened and even had thugs visit my home one night to scare me. And all I wanted to do was speak up and stand with millions of others who felt like I did.

What did we feel? We felt the government had gotten too big for its britches and was deeply corrupt.

Today most of Americans will agree with us on that point.

It’s been a long, tough road being attacked by those who refuse to do their homework and see that we were only concerned citizens speaking up – which was our right to do so. Sixteen years later I am still a slight bit angry because politics and politicians have taken away 16 years of my life that could have been lived in peace. But damn the torpedoes – politicians do not know peace, my friends – and your peace isn’t important to them.

Which takes me to why I’m writing this post. Yesterday I saw the headline about our Mayor stating…

In wake of Kamala Harris visit to Jacksonville, Donna Deegan says she’s not interested in ‘national politics’

My heart went out to Mayor Deegan because I can predict that no matter what – politics is going to be a major factor in our lives – here locally too.

You see friends, politicians use opportunities to divide and conquer the citizenry so they can rule over us and remain in power.

How do they do that? First, they look for one little statement, one little crack in the narrative, one little hiccup – and off they go!! They use that one statement to destroy anything that gets in their way of retaining power.

And by golly, they are damn good at it!

The article showed Mayor Deegan welcoming VP Harris to Jacksonville. It was hard to see that picture knowing that Kamala Harris was here to use Jacksonville’s newest Democratic Mayor to further their “political” cause. And Mayor Deegan trying to do the right thing by welcoming the VP – has no idea the political pawn she became this week. She’s never been a politician and she desires to stick to the local issues she ran on. We hope she is successful but the power brokers see her as a new tool to use for their gain. We hope she will see through this and plant her staff locally as she promised.

VP Harris came here to divide and conquer us for ONE LINE ITEM in the new Black Education Curriculum for Florida. She focused on one sentence, taken out of context, and lied to those in the audience that had gathered to hear her speak.

She is still lying because lies are the basis of all full-time politicians. She can’t help herself. She’s done it for so long that she believes her own word salad.

We encourage our followers to check out this article from Charles C. W. Cooke of National Review who did an in-depth review of the standards and has it laid out for you.

Mr. Cook stated, “I have been trying to work out how best to illustrate the sheer scale of Harris’s falsehood, and I’ve come to the conclusion that the only way to achieve it is to list in one place all the relevant parts of the course about which she is complaining. So, below, I have copied and pasted every single reference to slavery, slaves, abolitionism, civil rights, and African Americans that is in the document.”

Here is the article with the listing and the one sentence VP Harris pulled out in bold. It is a disgusting tactic and we will be wise to understand this for ourselves and teach others the truth of the matter.

We are in a war of words and we should all heed these wise words from the Bible…

Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
