Black History Month: A big Wink to our hometown hero, Former Lt. Jennifer Carroll

North Florida is the home of Jennifer Carroll and we could not be more proud. Jennifer was the first woman and the first black person to be elected to the position of Lieutenant Governor of Florida.

She is one of our heroes and we salute her during Black History Month.

In recognition of Former Lt. Governor Carroll and her achievements, we honor her as a role model. In a recent podcast with The Daily Signal, they stated, she is a perfect example of grit and grace. Carroll has served our country with sacrifice and pride for her country. She threw rocks at the glass ceiling and shattered it for all of us.
