Why?
More homes. Less competition. Prices that—at least compared to the rest of the country—haven’t gone completely off the rails.
In short: buyers actually have a shot here.
But let’s not get carried away. Mortgage rates are still high, and affordability is still tight for many families. This isn’t easy—it’s just easier than everywhere else.
Jacksonville is attracting attention. The question is whether we handle the attention wisely… or repeat the same mistakes that priced people out in other cities.
