There are more than snowbirds nesting in Florida now

Normally Floridians see a lot of northern car tags when the snowbirds come south for the winter. However, Florida is seeing more car tags than ever before and some are not snowbirds.

Florida saw an influx of over 91,000 New Yorkers and about 50,000 Californians during this period, primarily driven by tax-friendly policies and warmer weather. Florida’s real estate market became the second most valuable nationwide, valued at around $3.85 trillion, partially due to this migration.

While that is good news for those moving to Florida, some Floridians have been forced out of the housing market due to this this influx of wealthy newcomers. Most Floridians who are leaving are middle-class residents in search of affordability, with many moving to states like Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina.

There seems to be a big shift in the thinking of Americans. Those who have lived in California for the lifestyle are finding their lifestyle has changed due to policies of their far-left politicians. They have had enough and realized life is too short to put up with the over-taxation, over-regulation and over-extension of the bully arm of their government.

We welcome them here to the Free State of Florida and we suggest they get involved, tell others about the lunacy of the left they left behind and come November 2024, they vote for candidates who promise to keep us free and leave us the hell alone!

Just sayin…
