The 4th of July is one of our favorite holidays here at Eye on Jacksonville.
We adore our homeland — the USA — and the freedoms she guarantees each of us as citizens of this great country.
We hope you will celebrate just as John Adams imagined back in 1776 — “with parades, bells, fireworks, and festivals.” He hoped Independence Day would be remembered for generations — and here we are, 249 years later, still honoring that bold vision with joy, gratitude, and just the right amount of loud noise.
As we celebrate our country’s birth, let’s not forget what it took — and what it still takes — to stay free.
Here’s to liberty, loud voices, lit-up skies, and the enduring American spirit.
🎆 Happy Independence Day from all of us at Eye! 🇺🇸
Speaking of loud voices… Eye is celebrating something new.
A new voice. A new vibe. A new platform.

We’re thrilled to welcome Celia Raines to our team of truth-tellers.
Celia is a sharp, 20-year-old college student with a fire for psychology, politics, and business — and she’s got something to say about the Gen Z experience. Think: ghosting, groupthink, TikTok therapy, and the quiet death of real empathy. She’s not afraid to dig in, speak up, and say the quiet parts out loud.
You’ve been warned. And you’ll want to read.
📌 Her first article — on the world of Gen Z dating — is live now.
Oh, and after eight loyal years on Facebook, we’re finally stepping onto the ‘Gram.

We had a presence on X (formerly Twitter) — but were banned during the Biden administration. We took it as a badge of honor. After all, you don’t get banned unless you’re telling the truth.
