COJ.net Gets a Digital Makeover

If typing “coj.net” into your search bar was too difficult for you… We have great news. The City of Jacksonville has launched a redesigned website with a new URL.

Mayor Deegan hopes typing in “Jacksonville.gov” to the search bar is easier for you.

Deegan tells Action News Jax, “we worked hard to modernize it and make it more intuitive, so that visitors can quickly and efficiently find the website itself, as well as the information they are searching for.” Wow. Insulting us to draw in traffic to the new site is not cool, Madam Mayor.

If you are one of the lucky ones who can find COJ.net, you will be automatically redirected to Jacksonville.gov. If you see several pictures of Donna on the page, you found the right one.

All joking aside. Our old city website was horrendous. It was one of the worst designed websites I have ever used. It definitely needed a re-do. The new site is easy to navigate and seems to be pretty efficient. There are also really beautiful short overhead videos of our city featured at the top of the homepage.

Kudos, and a big Wink from Eye on Jacksonville, to Donna’s team for creating a more efficient site which better represents our city.
