The Florida Attorney General’s Office is now investigating the Jacksonville Transportation Authority.
According to Action News Jax, JTA interim CEO Cleveland Ferguson notified board members that the agency has received a subpoena seeking records tied to former CEO Nat Ford, Ford’s wife, and an organizational development firm. The request covers records from October 2023 through October 2025 and also seeks information involving tuition reimbursements, scholarships and related communications.
JTA says it intends to fully cooperate with the Attorney General’s Office.
This comes as the agency is already dealing with a major budget crisis, layoffs and serious questions surrounding spending and oversight.
