It has become apparent to the average person that something very sinister is happening in our country and yes even in our own state and local communities. We are listing a few items that need the attention of “the quiet ones” who wonder what they can do during these crazy and hateful times. It doesn’t take much but the sound of your voice to speak your mind against these threats to our society.
We have chosen a few but there are many more attacks on We the People and we will share them later.
Locally we have out of town groups showing up demanding we change the name of our local schools. Who are they to come to town and tell us what to do? Local citizens who are usually quiet, have shown up at community gatherings to speak their minds on the subject matter. Rumor has it that the decision has been made to appease the LOUD ones and Robert E. Lee and other schools will soon have their name changed. We shall see if that is true and we encourage you to speak your thoughts to your school board member. Contact your school board member today.
Our local public library hosted a zoom call with a black author who wrote a book shaming white people for being white – the color of skin God gave them. For a taxpayer entity such as the Public Library to host a racist author is crossing the line. The library stated the book is on the best seller list. Okay then – how about hosting a Christian pastor who will speak about the Bible. The Bible is the world’s best-selling and most widely distributed book. We encourage you to contact Tim Rogers, the CEO of Jacksonville’s Public Library and ask him why he chose to bring in such a divisive author and when will he give equal time to those who love white people — and all people and look for ways to build communities…not tear them down? We have our local schools infiltrated with Critical Race Theory (CRT) teachings by some teachers. Governor Ron DeSantis stated this week that CRT is a Marxist program and will make sure it is not taught in our schools. We thank our Governor for making this move and encourage parents to keep a close eye on their children’s curriculum and on their teachers to make sure it does not creep inside the classroom and inside the minds of their children. Florida State University is holding Racist ‘History of Karen’ Class to Trash White Women. Here we go again – a taxpayer funded school is teaching our children to hate white people. If you are sending your children to FSU or any other college, keep a close watch on the classes they offer. A parent’s job is not done just because their children are away at college…especially if the parents are paying for it. Here’s the report on this FSU class. Our local government wants more of our money by raising our taxes in a time when COVID 19 has destroyed many families and businesses because of the restrictive shutdown orders. This is a terrible time to talk about raising taxes and Mayor Curry should re-think this decision. The poorest among us will be the ones most affected. And to make matters worse — about 40% of the higher taxes will go to funding the Skyway Express. For a list of the proposed projects check out this spreadsheet and have fun! And then yesterday, a rapper, Lil Nas X Unveils ‘Satan Shoes’ That Contain Human Blood, in collaboration with custom sneaker brand MSCHF. YouTube is playing the video that goes along with this shoe. After YouTube spent the last two years cleansing its platform of conservative videos – it’s time for us to demand they remove Lil Nas too. If you can stomach it, go to his video and REPORT it. If you are a parent and your children listen to his songs, it’s time to render him gone from their ears and eyes.
