A local left-wing writer for the Dying Daily penned a predictable bit of prose for the annual Hate Day libs hold on the anniversary of Christopher Columbus discovering America.
I won’t further identify the publication or the writer because I don’t want anyone else to suffer through reading the rubbish.
The central theme was that old knee-slapper employed by the Far Left: Columbus didn’t “discover” anything because people already were here.
They don’t understand the English language.
Discover means:
To notice or learn, especially by making an effort.
To be the first, or the first of one’s group or kind, to find, learn of, or observe.
To learn about for the first time in one’s experience.
All of these perfectly describe the courageous and world-changing voyages of Columbus.
But libs hate America, and all of Western Civilization.
To them, opening up an entire hemisphere of the planet for trade and development was a tragedy, not a triumph.
They drone on and on about imaginary genocides and how the Utopian life of the Noble Native Americans was spoiled forever.
Nonsense. American Indians of the 15th century probably were the most unproductive people on the planet. They had squatted on prime land, packed with natural resources, for 10,000 years without advancing their standard of living one iota.
The truth is, libs want humans to devolve into living in tents, walking everywhere (Indians had no horses until the Europeans arrived), scrounging for food every day and warring constantly with other humans.
Demeaning the achievements of Columbus and other explorers is all part of that plan.
Capitalism, which was at the heart of the European thirst for knowledge and discovery, has saved more lives and created more prosperity than any other system on the planet.
Libs hate it and have a burning longing for socialism and communism.
Through their dominance in the media and academia, they hope to gain permanent control of government and reach those goals, thus undoing the 500 years of unprecedented prosperity that began with the voyages of Columbus.
One response to “Libs are becoming a parody – of themselves”

ONLY WAY FOR LEFT TO WIN IS TO CONTROL THE LANGUAGE AND THE
DICTIONARY TO REWRITE HISTORY AND TURN TRUTH INTO LIES.
Discover means:
To notice or learn, especially by making an effort.
To be the first, or the first of one’s group or kind, to find, learn of, or observe.

THOSE OF US WHO “LOVE AMERICA, FREEDOM, AND LIBERTY” REMAIN
SILENT AND COMPLACENT IN THEIR QUEST TO DO SO.
PROVING . . .
THOSE WHO HATE AMERICA HAVE A GREATER DESIRE THAN THOSE WHO
LOVE AMERICA . . . STUNNING, ABSOLUTELY STUNNING.
