Every four years, it seems, someone declares the presidential election to be the most important ever held. This year it may be true.

There seems no doubt that America is at a crossroads. It can choose “progressiveness,” or real progress.

Eight years ago, the nation began a recovery from the Obama calamity but four years ago, another setback occurred.

Without the reinstatement of President Donald Trump, the nation faces:

  • More millions of foreigners streaming over our borders – not because they want to become Americans but because they want to change America into the Third World nations they came from.
  • Continued taxing and spending well beyond what the economy can bear.
  • More pornography in schools, parental rights trampled and declining education of our children.
  • Rising crime as criminals are treated as victims and victims are treated as criminals.
  • Further destruction of once great cities.
  • More and more socialism, a political gamut that never has worked anywhere and won’t in America.

At a rally in Jacksonville over the weekend about 135-40 people who recognize these dangers let it be known loudly and clearly that they were opposed to moving any further in that direction.

The rally was for U.S. Sen. Rick Scott and U.S. Rep. Aaron Bean, two Republican incumbents running for re-election. It was held at the Diamond D Ranch in West Jacksonville.

The enthusiasm was palpable, and it reflected the fact that the Republican Party, once a mere blip in Florida politics, now is more popular in Florida than the Democrat Party.

Scott, like Trump, was despised by the liberal media and not expected to win in 2018 but fought his way through three recounts and thousands of illegal votes to victory. He emphasized the important of gaining a GOP Senate majority.

Bean discussed what has been called the “$6 trillion election,” with the repeal of the Trump tax relief and the promised increase of $2 trillion in spending by Democrats, who already have debt at a record level, with ensuing inflation.

He also revealed that 70,000 illegals had been flown into the United States last month in the hope of getting more (illegal) votes for Democrats, who have been trying for 50 years to change the electorate.

Local GOP chairman Dean Black said the event was one of a series of rallies aimed at getting Republicans to the polls to stop the insanity at the federal level.
