GOP is supporting terrorist victims in Israel

Republican leaders have organized a pro-Israel event scheduled for today at Jacksonville City Hall.

Those slated to attend include Sheriff T.K. Waters, state Sen. Clay Yarborough; state Rep. Dean Black and City Council Member Nick Howland.

They planned to protest what they called the “incomprehensible evil” of the terrorist attacks on the people of Israel.

here are issues that are debatable. The “Palestinian” cause is not one of them.

The Arabs who call themselves Palestinians are people who hate Jewish people.

In a recent sneak attack, they killed more than 1,300 Jews, slaughtering unarmed civilians, and beheading and burning babies.

They attacked Israel the day it was declared a nation in 1948. They claim they want peace but they have rejected every peace proposal put to them.

Many Arabs who lived in Israel left, but many others stayed. Arabs make up 21 percent of Israel’s population. They are far better off than the ones who chose to leave.

Today the Democrat media in America is hand-wringing over the population density in Gaza.

The 22 nations in the Arab League have 2.2 million square miles of land and only 168 million inhabitants. They could easily accommodate the 1.7 million Arabs in the Gaza Strip, and all other Arabs who call themselves Palestinian.

But they won’t. Instead, they let them live in squalor and fight a proxy war.

Israel is a tiny bastion of freedom, democracy and capitalism surrounded by millions of enemies. It deserves the kind of support the United States is giving to Ukraine.
