First Charlie. Now Us? Al Qaeda Plans Mass Attacks

When Charlie Kirk was gunned down, many of us felt a knot in our stomachs that hasn’t gone away. It wasn’t just the loss of a man—it was the chilling sense that voices of faith, family, and truth are being hunted down in broad daylight. His murder was a reminder that standing up in the public square comes with a cost, and it was a warning: Charlie may have been the first, but he won’t be the last.

Now, just days later, the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) has issued an unclassified memo confirming what many of us feared—the threats aren’t just online arguments or angry debates anymore. They’re real, coordinated, and deadly.

“NCTC confirms Al Qaeda cells, emboldened by the group’s resurgence in Afghanistan and the North and Central Africa, have embedded themselves across major urban centers in the US. This has been confirmed by intercepted communications, financial tracking, and human intelligence. The operation is aimed at maximizing casualties and chaos.

Expect simultaneous strikes across multiple cities, echoing Al Qaeda’s historical ambitions for mass casualty operations like 9/11 but adapted for urban guerrilla tactics. Targets could include soft sites such as crowded events, transportation hubs, and public gatherings.

Al Qaeda terror attack plans in the US are primarily focused on hospitals and medical facilities. NCTC even has evidence the terrorists  are “scoping” emergency rooms, trauma centers, and triage points in cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, and Miami. The intent appears clear: disrupt healthcare infrastructure to prevent treatment of the wounded, effectively creating a “second wave” of fatalities through denial of care.

Attack strategy is designed to sow confusion and cripple emergency response. Al Qaeda has purchased large quantities of police and first-responder uniforms from surplus outlets and online vendors in at least five states. These acquisitions, traced through bulk credit card anomalies and CCTV footage, suggest a plan to impersonate law enforcement during the assaults—allowing attackers to blend in, direct panicked crowds, or even execute secondary strikes on fleeing victims. “

The memo lays out chilling details: operatives already inside our cities, hospitals being scoped as prime targets, first-responder uniforms purchased to fool and confuse, and plans for simultaneous strikes designed to paralyze entire regions.

Sound familiar? It should. Just as Charlie’s assassination was meant to silence and scatter, these attacks are designed to confuse, divide, and make us afraid to speak or gather. Whether it’s a terrorist bullet or a bomb, or whether it’s the constant drumbeat of censorship against Christian voices, the goal is the same: to drive truth underground.

But here’s the thing — America has been here before. From our founding fathers praying in the Continental Congress, to neighbors leaning on each other during the Depression, to moms and dads rationing for the war effort in the 1940s, we’ve always found a way to come together. We didn’t let fear win then, and we can’t let it win now.

Charlie Kirk’s death must not be the start of silence. It has to be the spark of resolve. And the NCTC’s warnings should remind us that this isn’t just about politics—it’s about surviving evil, protecting our freedoms, and having faith.

That’s why now is the time for families to plan, for communities to prepare, and for neighbors to link arms. And just as important—it’s the time for people of faith not to retreat into the shadows but to step into the public square with courage.

What We Must Do Next

  1. Pray – For wisdom, courage, protection, and strength.
  2. Prepare – Build a family plan: food, water, safe locations, communication, and self-defense.
  3. Organize – Link arms with neighbors, churches, and local veterans. Create networks of trust before crisis hits.
  4. Speak Up – Refuse to be silenced. Honor Charlie’s life by carrying the torch of truth into the public square.

Because if Charlie’s story teaches us anything, it’s this: those who try to silence truth may kill a man, but they cannot kill the spirit of a people who refuse to surrender. Evil will not win!!
