Local agitator Ben Frazier is going to speak at the United Nations.
Frazier is a Democrat and a former TV reporter. He knows how to generate headlines and get his mug on television.
Recently, he made a scene at a press conference and managed to get arrested. The charges were dropped.
He is a perpetual protester against the police and heads a group he calls the Northside Coalition. He often styles himself as a “civil rights” hero.
In this case he is going to protest Florida’s anti-riot law.
Following the Black Lives Matter Insurrection of 2020, Florida enacted a law intended to prevent violent protests of that kind. At least 36 other states and cities did the same thing.
But Democrats support mob rule and objected to Florida’s law. A liberal judge ruled it unconstitutional, and that decision is on appeal.
Globalists at the U.N. are only too glad to hear from people like Frazier who have animosity towards the United States. That’s why they invited little Greta Thunberg to put on her petulant protest about so-called “global warming,” which generated headlines all over the world.
Apparently, Frazier will be heard by the Committee to Eliminate Racial Discrimination
A tiny liberal newspaper published occasionally in Jacksonville wrote: “The Committee to Eliminate Racial Discrimination was begun in 1969 as the UN’s principal international human rights program to define and prohibit such acts in all sectors of private and public life.”
Left out by the writer: The United Nations has no authority to prohibit United States citizens from doing anything. For the moment, America is a sovereign nation.
Far Left democratic socialists in America are eager to yield that sovereignty but at least 71 million Americans – and we suspect millions more — oppose them.
