Taking the movie Sound of Freedom to the streets: Join the local Caravan to Combat Human Trafficking!

Many of you have seen or heard about the movie, Sound of Freedom.  It has been out for three weeks now and is beating all time records of attendance.  The movie is about Tim Ballard, the founder of Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.) and his deep dive into rescuing children out of sex slavery.

Human trafficking remains a grave global crisis that affects millions of lives every year. In the fight against this heinous crime, we are coming together for a local Caravan in partnership with Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.) to raise awareness and take a stand against human trafficking. We invite you to join us on this meaningful journey as we drive together to symbolize our commitment to rescue victims, prosecute offenders, and prevent further exploitation.

The event, initiated by Art Lara, a local medically retired Combat Veteran with a remarkable background of nearly 9 years of service in the army and who also worked with the Department of State in Iraq, has garnered overwhelming support from the community. Feeling deeply moved by the O.U.R. Organization and its noble cause, Art decided to organize a local Caravan to gauge local interest. The response was nothing short of inspiring, and the team quickly formed with the help of Dar Christianson and Heather Shea.

What is Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.)?

Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting against human trafficking and rescuing victims from modern-day slavery. Their mission is to end this global crisis by providing resources, support, and coordination with local law enforcement to conduct rescue operations and bring traffickers to justice.
