No-Hit Zones take a hit and City Council bails out grocery store chain. What?

The controversial Resolution to set up “No Hit Zones” inside public buildings failed to pass City Council approval last night.  Eye believes that is a good move due to the vague training and empowering of city employees to give parents parental advice.  What?  Yep, you read that right.  And…we already have laws on the books about abuse so this was a silly bill to begin with.

Good thinking City Council.

But the City Council just loves our honey pot of taxpayer money.  Last night they voted to fund $3 Million to keep a grocery store in a part of the city where it can’t make any money.  What?  Yep, you read that right too.  If you own a business and you can’t make money we think you should consider asking the City to bail you out.  Why not?  Isn’t that the fair thing to do?

Whatcha thinking City Council?
