Link:  Which of these downtown projects do you think will have the largest impact on Jacksonville?

The Landing was #1 with 54% of those polled.  The Business Journal’s readership is largely local businesses and business leaders.  It appears even the local business leaders agree that the Landing renovation would make the largest impact on our City.

In that article we noted the City is contractually responsible for the upkeep of the docks and the outside perimeter of The Landing.  They are doing a pathetic job and taking away our fun and the ability to make a LARGE IMPACT ON JACKSONVILLE  — while giving away incentives to others who scored lower in the poll.  Why would they do that?

We give a WINK to The Landing for being #1 and to the Jacksonville Business Journal for asking the question.

We give a STINK to the City for focusing on other projects while the people polled wish they would focus on The Landing.

Don’t you just wish the City would listen to the people, every now and then???
