President Trump to the Class of 2025: “This Is Your Golden Age”

In a stirring and unapologetically bold commencement address at the University of Alabama, President Donald J. Trump delivered a powerful message of hope, courage, and perseverance to the graduating Class of 2025 — a class he called the foundation of America’s Golden Age.

From the moment he opened with a booming “Roll Tide,” it was clear this would be no ordinary speech. President Trump didn’t just offer congratulations — he delivered a challenge: Lead boldly, think independently, and never, ever give up.

Words of Wisdom from the 45th President:

  • “Think of yourself as a winner.”
  • “Be an original — the world has enough copies.”
  • “Never back down.”
  • “Smash through every limit they try to put on you.”

He reminded students that greatness is not born — it’s built, often one failure and one comeback at a time. He shared his own story of breaking into New York real estate in his 20s, encouraging young leaders to dream big and act fast

With humor, candor, and unmistakable conviction, he touched on the importance of protecting fairness in sports, standing firm in values, and questioning conventional wisdom — even from elite institutions. “The next chapter of America,” he said, “won’t be written by Harvard. It will be written right here in Alabama — by you.”

His message was clear.  The Class of 2025 should not wait for permission – they need to lead, not follow.  They will, in fact, be the ones to write the next chapter of this country.  God bless them as they take up the mantle of freedom!!
